 X-Finish employs LubriPlate as an exterior coating. This high quality finish protects against oxidization and corrosion and helps repel water and grime, protecting the moving parts from dirt and rust.

LubriPlate coats the surface of all the moving gears through an Electro Plating process. The parts are are now enhanced with GSP, which is an original polymer compound specifically formulated to work with Gotoh LubriCoat. The need for oil has been eliminated keeping the lubrication where it is needed for the life of the tuning heads.

Rock-Solid design eliminates the sideways movement of the string post.
